SIBLINGS, FOR ME- A MUST...

MY  WORLD..........

SIBLINGS, FOR ME- A MUST...

Personally, as for me, as a matter of fact siblings are quite a must! Loving, Caring, Helping are the common words, for me it differs...coz I have experienced it, and my dad says I do have a way with words...Now its not words I am going to use...Its my life, the feelings I experienced, enjoyed....
As a young boy, or rather a toddler, I was pampered, by my parents and mind you it was only 'me'.I was the only beholder of the hugs, kisses, love, attention and all of those things. I was the one and only to be fed, patted, I was the one and only to my dad's games and unconditional love, I was the one and only to my mom's lap and yummy food and feeding, t the play pan or cot, to the pram, to the toys and all those over-friendly friends, I would call them...Then to, in the corner of my heart somewhere, a tinge of loneliness, tiny bit lack of fun and then one day as I waited for the school bus, with my mom I said to her,"Mom, I want a brother, one who never will leave our home like my cousin brothers do!" I wanted a sibling, at that time for me 'he'(I wanted a brother after all) was a must, I was unaware of the fact but now I know it...!!!
Not more than two years after that, I had what Idearly wished for, a baby boy, a younger brother all to me!!! I was happy, overjoyed, overwhelmed, my head was bouncing and actually whizzing with excitement and...I kissed him, I have a photo of the same yet:

But what I realised after a while was this, that now lots of attention was now now given to him...I was not the lone beholder now of the hugs, kisses, patting...He also started sleeping in mom's lap! This feeling threw my nose way above the tallest sky scrapers, but actually never annoyed me...
I was happy that I had someone to look after, share my love...I was happy that I could read out stories to him and enjoy the pleasure of solving doubts...I was always excited to make up stories about giants and fairies, I somewhat liked it...I was now accompanied by my 'sibling' to be formal and 'bro' to be informal to every game from cricket to football to badminton...Mom was now secured that I wouldn't feel lonely so she could leave me and my BRO alone at home in case of urgency for few hours! I also loved being a teacher to him and teach him the ABC. I could tease him every now and then to see his nose go red like a ripe tomato! But we are discussing siblings' must, aren't we? So let's see the same from his point of view...

Maybe he liked to be told my made up stories, maybe he liked being tutored by his Bro, maybe he loved accompanying me to games, maybe he liked the extra pampering, extra hugs, extra kisses and I can't read his mind though I can read him books and so I think maybe all these maybe's are not maybe's and are true...!!!
So what's more, one 'blog' full I would say of a living example...So don't you believe siblings are a must???
