In school...I have LEARNT…

MY  WORLD..........

In school...I have LEARNT…

I
bet most of you might have read ‘All the World’s A Stage’ by William Shakespeare…There are seven stages in a man’s life- The infant, The school boy, The Lover, The Soldier, The Justice, The Old man and finally the mere Oblivion
I, most of all would never forget the School Boy that once I was or rather- Once I am…
Right now I have finished ten years of schooling and am left with four long years of the same and yet I have a lot of things to learn!!! Right now I haven’t started with Biology, Chemistry, Physics, the detailed Geometry and Algebra… I haven’t learnt them… But there are many other things I have to learn! I have to learn to make friends( That’s the reason I’m reading “MAKING FRIENDS” by Andrew Matthews), learn to tolerate, learn to receive a spanking, learn to see my graph go down even if it was high through the term, learn to take teasing, learn to tolerate gossip, learn to stop being self-conscious and live a life…!!! Oh God! Are 4 years enough???
Nevertheless I am going to share what I have learnt…I am not at all teaching you basic maths or how to write a letter but am going to tell you something about students…Only if you have read my previous blog- “THE RELATIONSHIP CIRCLE” you would know that I love deciphering things in groups… So, here again I have deciphered students in groups- 1)Posh group(ones who study hard and get their rewards)     2)Labourers( ones who do their best but can’t achieve their goals)          3)The Brats (the ones who do not want to do anything and get the same)
4) The Paralysed (the ones who just cannot)
The others are quite well – known as their population levels are truly very high, but the Paralysed aren’t noticed at all…
WE do say that there are a lots of dyslexic students in the world but is there anyone to do something about it? A normal person would say,” No” I say ,”Yes”... coz there are institutions to look after them! Actually now also the regular schools take adequate amount of steps to look after them… But here we not only are talking about the Dyslexic, we are also talking about the Different ones… Now, the question is, “Who are the “whatever” you call them?’’ I simply say, ‘These are the different ones!!!’ Now, such students are not having a disability to read or memorise, it’s that they are not paid attention to because of their PHYSICAL BEHAVIOUR!!! They are like they go and hug a teacher just when she is giving some important notes or maybe they go now and then to the staff room without specific reasons, they just go to sleep for hours during lectures and wake just three minutes before the recess bell goes, they do not know their limits… And because of all this the teacher who does not understand his problem throws him out of the class and the desperate child is teased out of his life by the ones who actually have to give him a hand!!!
The counsellor is tired of this one boy harassing the helpless boy but she can’t keep a check on them all day… She’s busy!!! And in this hopeless circle the child who has to learn the basics is teased and there is no one special to look after him and here it’s not the boy’s fault(alone) nor nature’s(alone), nor the school’s(alone), nor the parent’s(alone) , nor the counsellor’s(alone), - And I hope you have definitely noticed the “(alone)s” , Because it’s a collective fault of each… 75% of parents, 15% school’s, 9% nature’s, And 1% of the boy!!!
Now, you might be thinking it should be vice versa. What’s the parent’s or school’s fault? Ultimately the boy is NATURALLY like that and HE should do something *&^%$#@!!!WRONG!!!@#$%^&*If someone is at fault it is highly of the parents! Don’t they know that there are a lots and lots of institutes in India to take care of these cases but have they done anything? No! Some have but not all… A living example- A boy in my class… All these problems, I know from him! He is in a ‘regular’ school by which I mean where normal students come to learn and have the ability to do so…these students (paralyzed ones) do have the ability to do the same but they have higher obstacles to jump over than just marks…!!!
And then why haven’t his parents put him in a school where he will be taken care of…I am not saying the school is not doing good, but their best has to be better but can they do it in such a busy and rough schedule???
No! Of course not! And when I say ‘School’s’ fault I do not mean the entire system, it’s just that the classmates have to be a bit courteous and considerate with the child and the teachers have to know( I come back there again )that HE IS “DIFFERENT”. They need to know that he has to be treated in a different manner, unlike others, he can’t be shouted for every silly thing he does… He has to be gently explained even if he can’t or doesn’t understand.
“Searching faults is less effective than searching for remedies.”
And in such a case, first of all, the parents have to be assertive and put the child in a special institute.
Secondly, if the child is put in a ‘regular’ school, the authorities have to know about the problem and knowing is not just sufficient, it has to be analysed and applied. And if the school isn’t ready to take the responsibility of a “DIFFERENT” child, they should not and be declarative! And as I say
“DIFFERENCE” HAS TO BE HANDLED WITH“DIFFERENCE”…!!!
                                         So handle thy Differently!!!

Relationship Circle

MY  WORLD..........

                   Relationship Circle_____________

Over billions of people are living in this great big world, out of which you ‘are in a relationship' with most of them...and oh please do not get me wrong because if you get me wrong I am afraid you are maybe not getting me...
I bet you know that we are seeing million, talking to a thousand and living with only a few people in our world!!!Now, for an instant example for our ‘Instant Age’, you eat chocolates, how would you classify them? The ones you like, the ones you hate and the ones you are OK with...the same is with relations, you have a group of people you simply say a 'Hi Hello' and the next it's a plain 'Au revoir'. The other group is the people you possess somewhat conditional love...And the last of them all are the ones you possess unconditional true love, and mind you it’s not 'like',I clearly said 'love'...
Coming back to the first group, I would like to call it 'the Hi, Hello, Saw you’ band. You like it, eh? Now, the people you have such a relationship with do not influence you or play an important role in your life...Now if you have a friend(who maybe is in the 'Hi Hello band')has a jazzy pen and you want one too, I wouldn't call it an influence('stupid influence' may go well with it)...If you tell one of these people are truly inspiring you then maybe they should be promoted(you know where, ofcourse)...Common feelings and situations with these type of people maybe unwanted jealousy, misunderstandings, helpfulness, guilt and you need to cope up with them because  even if you fight with your best friend and call him your worst enemy your heart is going to burst with grief for you have lost a relationship...One last thing,
the' Hi Hello relationship band’ has quick makeups and even quicker breakups...So, Watch Out...!!!
The next people, if you remember are  the ones you possess conditional love with. For instance again, you love your uncle only because he bought you a flashy cycle with gears and all but you avoid your aunt because she is too particular with habits and manners and is strict.  So what is this?
Simple conditional love! These people are fewer in number as 'not all hearts love on conditions...' Some people unconsciously do what we call ‘ Attention Seeking’, you know…They do it to get your attention towards them…they do not exactly or rather actually love you with the bottom of their heart! The ones who ask younger children whom he or she likes better, is nothing but attention seeking. These relations might be long lasting as our attention seeking lot in and around the family are having a life as long as you and I do not think they are going to change…However they are not closely knit like the closer ones (we will discuss about ‘the closer ones’ later). It’s like their entry makes you feel like ‘cherry on the sundae’ and by an hour or so you are bored and now they give you the feeling ‘very boring Sunday’!!! They may be somewhat of an influence…Now to maintain such a relation you need to be tolerant, (sorry to be mischievious)  a bit demanding and most of all you need to be ready for sudden arguments…And most importantly, I would call them the ‘Close to Heart but a Mile Away’ folks….
It would be an understatement to call the other group of people ‘people’ because they have engraved, or actually our own self has engraved their names on our own hearts because these people possess unconditional love with us…I always like to give a living example as I always do and again it’s me myself- How much ever my mom scolds me, I love her… How much ever I sulk over my Dad’s strictness, I go back in his lap again and give him a kiss, even if I tease my brother( If you are following me, you will know him, if not-shahensworld.blogspot.in) out of his tolerance, we love each other. And that’s it, a living example…!!! Unconditional love!!! Now here we come back to our very first stanza, and this group of people are told be having a “RELATIONSHIP” with. We share our dinners with them, though the telly comes sometimes in the scene, we work for each other, we give gifts to each other, with our true hearts, not the ‘second group’ types, we fight and then laugh, punch one and then play, give a push and then watch a movie together… !!!And remember these relations last life long, provided you preserve them with a sense of responsibility, love, tolerance, faith and worldly bliss…….
I’d like to call this relationship group ‘Silver Thread Relationship’ group as a thread has a very long life
but unless it is handled with care it has its own effects…!!!

SIBLINGS, FOR ME- A MUST...

MY  WORLD..........

SIBLINGS, FOR ME- A MUST...

Personally, as for me, as a matter of fact siblings are quite a must! Loving, Caring, Helping are the common words, for me it differs...coz I have experienced it, and my dad says I do have a way with words...Now its not words I am going to use...Its my life, the feelings I experienced, enjoyed....
As a young boy, or rather a toddler, I was pampered, by my parents and mind you it was only 'me'.I was the only beholder of the hugs, kisses, love, attention and all of those things. I was the one and only to be fed, patted, I was the one and only to my dad's games and unconditional love, I was the one and only to my mom's lap and yummy food and feeding, t the play pan or cot, to the pram, to the toys and all those over-friendly friends, I would call them...Then to, in the corner of my heart somewhere, a tinge of loneliness, tiny bit lack of fun and then one day as I waited for the school bus, with my mom I said to her,"Mom, I want a brother, one who never will leave our home like my cousin brothers do!" I wanted a sibling, at that time for me 'he'(I wanted a brother after all) was a must, I was unaware of the fact but now I know it...!!!
Not more than two years after that, I had what Idearly wished for, a baby boy, a younger brother all to me!!! I was happy, overjoyed, overwhelmed, my head was bouncing and actually whizzing with excitement and...I kissed him, I have a photo of the same yet:

But what I realised after a while was this, that now lots of attention was now now given to him...I was not the lone beholder now of the hugs, kisses, patting...He also started sleeping in mom's lap! This feeling threw my nose way above the tallest sky scrapers, but actually never annoyed me...
I was happy that I had someone to look after, share my love...I was happy that I could read out stories to him and enjoy the pleasure of solving doubts...I was always excited to make up stories about giants and fairies, I somewhat liked it...I was now accompanied by my 'sibling' to be formal and 'bro' to be informal to every game from cricket to football to badminton...Mom was now secured that I wouldn't feel lonely so she could leave me and my BRO alone at home in case of urgency for few hours! I also loved being a teacher to him and teach him the ABC. I could tease him every now and then to see his nose go red like a ripe tomato! But we are discussing siblings' must, aren't we? So let's see the same from his point of view...

Maybe he liked to be told my made up stories, maybe he liked being tutored by his Bro, maybe he loved accompanying me to games, maybe he liked the extra pampering, extra hugs, extra kisses and I can't read his mind though I can read him books and so I think maybe all these maybe's are not maybe's and are true...!!!
So what's more, one 'blog' full I would say of a living example...So don't you believe siblings are a must???
